Tony and his wife, Terri Lombardi, and daughter, Denise Lombardi Smith, took on the challenge to reinforce the amazing reputation that Lombardi’s Seafood had in the community while enhancing quality and service to its new and existing loyal customers. In 1961, as the Orlando market started to grow, Tony Lombardi, Sr. A few years later, he and his brothers opened a wholesale/retail seafood market in Tampa. After learning the shrimp business, he then landed a job with a local seafood wholesaler. ![]() started his seafood career as a deckhand on the Tampa shrimping fleet in the early 1950s.
